I just released the song ‘Breaking Out’ for my ‘The Case Continues‘ album. Once again a kinda rock ballad, this time with (a little bit unusual for me) male vocals. Usually I prefer female vocals but this male vocal fits perfectly with this song. Also note the sax solos and the shimmering electric piano parts.

I just released ‘When The Bell Tolls’ for my ‘Chimera‘ album. This track once again contains female vocals in the ‘Sinhala‘ language, there are also lots of strings and even a violin solo. The general atmosphere is very calm although in the distance a retreating thunderstorm still can be heard.

Today I released the newest addition to my ‘The Case Continues‘ album. ‘New Emotions’ is as straight pop/rock song with lots of guitars and it reminds me a bit of Fleetwood Mac. This wasn’t intended as I started working on it but during the creative stage it became more or less apparent to me, the only thing I can say about this: there are worse examples ;-).

I just released the first three tracks for my new ‘Stories‘ album. The first track (‘Just a Fool’ ) is a pop/rock-ballad while the other two tracks (‘Fire’ and ‘Alone In The Desert’) both are more up-tempo and build around percussive acoustic guitars. All three tracks feature female vocals.

I just released the fourth song for my new album ‘Chimera‘. It’s called ‘Angels In The Sky’ and it was originally meant for a Cymatics contest but I decided not to send it in because 1. it did not adhere to the rules (because I used vocals) and 2. I had to use Instagram which is a no-go for me as it belongs tho the dreaded Meta-imperium.

The song itself consists of three parts, where the third part is more or less a repeat of the first part with vocals and other instruments added.

I just released the third track for my ‘Chimera‘ album. ‘Where Madness Dwells’ is a calm song with some bird-accompaniment throughout the whole track. It is mainly based on melodic percussion (sometimes reversed, e.g. the arpeggio in the last section), a few rather mangled guitars, some synths and a choir (on the background of the middle section).

I just uploaded the last track for my ‘A New Case of Music‘ album. ‘Empty Spaces’ is a kinda ballad with female vocals, beautiful strings in the middle and a very nice sax solo in the end. Part of the drums (bassdrum, snare with hot rods and cymbals) are played by myself on my vintage Sonor kit.

The second song on my ‘Chimera‘ album is based upon some Cymatic loops, placed in a kinda underwater ambience, the lyrics are in a fantasy language. The drums in the background come from iZotope Breaktweaker and are completely mangled in iZotope Neutron 4 (Neutron is certainly not meant for this but somehow it worked 😉

I just released the track ‘Hell is back‘ which is the first track for my new album ‘Chimera‘. ‘Hell is back‘ is a rather long song (over 8 minutes) in the ambient genre with massive synths and female vocals, all placed in a seaside ambience.

I just added my new song ‘Silent Nightse’ to the ‘A New Case of Music‘ album. ‘Silent Nights’ is a quite unusual song and doesn’t fit in my usual pop/rock category. It features spoken text in English/Icelandic and some Viking shouts and the overall feeling is rather threatening, reinforced by the heavy percussion.
